Should I rest quietly or persist in exercising when I feel tired after work?

After class, if we are tired, we can still choose to persist in exercising. We can choose a relaxed exercise method to make it a habit and a way to relax our mood.

Firstly, we analyze and analyze why many children struggle to get tired after work. Should they take a good rest or persist in exercising?

Actually, it's because everyone regards exercise as a chore. Just like a colleague of mine, she spent over 2000 yuan to apply for a gym card. At first, she decided to go for an hour of exercise after work every day, but later she felt too tired and didn't want to go. I also feel tired, so why not make exercising a little easier? For example, like I am doing now, setting a micro goal plan for myself, doing 5 kick exercises every day, checking in on my phone once completed, and if I don't feel tired, I can do 10 or 20 without setting a limit.

Once I am unwilling to do it, just stop and complete the basic goals. This way, exercising will not be tiring for me at all. And it will gradually make the brain accept the fact of exercising every day, and exercise will become a habit for us, so we don't have to worry about whether to rest quietly or persist in exercising after work.

Treat exercise as a means of relieving work fatigue.

Sometimes work is too tiring, and resting quietly can actually immerse oneself in the fatigue of work. It's better to exercise and relax your body. For example, doing stretching exercises can effectively relieve fatigue in areas such as the neck, shoulders, legs, and other areas after a tiring day at work. You can search in Station B, Little Red Book or Tiktok by yourself, and you can find many videos of stretching movement and follow them.

The benefits of exercising after work

1. Improving sleep quality: Most office workers find it difficult to fall asleep despite being tired after returning home. After work, exercising can stretch the entire body, fully relax the mind, and significantly improve sleep quality.

2. Promoting weight loss: The last and most important reason is that returning home after work can promote weight loss. During the day, the main focus of work is sitting, and there is no way to consume excess energy. After work, exercise, aerobic exercise, fat burning, and anaerobic exercise can help maintain a perfect body shape!

Find ways to deal with fatigue after work, so you don't have to worry about whether to rest quietly or exercise consistently.

1. Set boundaries between work and work. If we are also prone to worry about work from home, then find ways to establish boundaries between work and family life. Remind yourself that it will still be there for tomorrow's work. Research has found that mental disengagement from work can improve life satisfaction and reduce psychological stress, but it does not harm work performance.

2. Having daily rituals after work is a good way to relax and establish boundaries between work and the rest of the day. This may be as simple as relaxing with a cup of tea, taking an afternoon walk, or talking to loved ones on the phone. Ensure that the home is a pleasant and peaceful environment.

3. Doing what you enjoy and using what you enjoy as a reward is a good way to give yourself some expectations and combat fatigue. If you have something to look forward to after work, your fatigue will also be much reduced.
