This sentence does not seem to have much effect on boys, but it has a greater lethality on girls.

Why does the buttocks become bigger

This may be related to the soreness of our hips after running.

When running, in order to provide energy to the lower limbs, a large amount of blood flows to the hips and thighs.

At this time, if you sit down immediately, the blood circulation is not smooth, and there will be a swelling feeling accompanied by soreness in the buttocks. However, this feeling is subjective and does not mean that the ass is really getting bigger.

Other hazards of sitting down after running

Now that this fact has been clarified, does it mean that the behavior of "sit immediately after running" does not require admonition?

Nor is it.

Because when we run, the muscles of the lower limbs will contract regularly to encourage blood to flow back to the heart. If we sit down and rest immediately after running, the muscle contraction will suddenly stop. In this way, the blood that should flow to the heart may be lack of power. And siltation in the lower limbs.

The most direct effect of insufficient blood return is hypoxia in the brain , which can induce symptoms such as palpitation, shortness of breath, dizziness, pale complexion and even shock and fainting.

1. Drink plenty of water after running

After doing strenuous exercise, the body will sweat a lot in order to keep the body temperature stable and consume the salt in the body.

Drinking a lot of water at this time will further reduce the proportion of salt in the blood, disrupt the balance of water and salt metabolism in the body, affect normal physiological functions, and cause "water intoxication" in severe cases.

My suggestion is that if the amount of perspiration is low after running, you can rest for about 5 minutes, and then replenish water in small mouthfuls; if the amount of exercise is large and perspiration is a lot, it is best to wait for the heart rate to stabilize before replenishing, and follow a small amount of In principle, avoid ingesting a lot of water at once.

2. Take a shower immediately after running

The stickiness of the body after running is uncomfortable, but it is not recommended to rinse the body immediately.

Because after running, the body is still in a state of perspiration and heat dissipation. At this time, if you take a bath immediately, it is easy to cause skin vasoconstriction, resulting in difficulty in heat dissipation and muscle spasm.

So I suggest you wipe off your sweat after running to avoid catching a cold, and take a shower when you no longer sweat.

3. Blindly eating after running

After running, the gastrointestinal peristalsis is weakened, and the secretion of various digestive glands is greatly reduced. It is prone to indigestion problems after eating immediately. It is recommended to rest for 20-30 minutes before eating.

At the same time, I don't recommend fasting after running. After all, the body consumes a lot of muscle glycogen during running. If you want to restore energy and repair muscles efficiently, you need to add appropriate calories within 2 hours.
